Corona Virus update
The school are receiving daily updates from the Dfe.
They have also launched a helpline related to education; for staff, parents and young people.

Phone: 0800 046 8687
Email:
DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

DBAt are in the process of agreeing a trust wide approach which we will share with you in due course. In the meantime it will be business as usual unless we are advised otherwise. Rest assured that, if for any reason, we did have to close the school, school work would be set for pupils by class teachers via email or the school website – further details of this would be shared in that instance.

Parking
We have had several reports that, at pick up time, cars without disabled badges are parking on school site in the drop zone and in disabled bays. We do understand that it is challenging to find places to park – but we would ask that all parents be considerate each other in not continuing this.

Online Gaming
A number of parents have reported to us in the last week that they are hearing children who attend the school using strong and inappropriate language whilst playing online with their friends. Please continue to monitor your childrens’ use of online gaming and encourage them to report unacceptable behavior.

New arrivals
Saving the best news until last… we’re delighted to be able to let you know that one of our fantastic Year 1 Class Teachers, Mrs Holloway, is expecting. I’m sure you would all join us in congratulating her on her exciting news.
