Coronavirus Information
You will all have received an email today about Coronavirus and our approach to the current situation - it is also on our website http://tadpolefarmcepa.co.uk/coronavirus-information/
As you might expect there are some questions parents/carers have asked so I have added Frequently Asked Questions item to the web page http://tadpolefarmcepa.co.uk/coronavirus-information/frequently-asked-questions-coronavirus-information.php
and will endeavour to update this regularly.
Most of the children have been very sensible and sensitive about others who have coughs/colds/come from specific cultural backgrounds or holidayed in places where the virus is present.  A very small number of children have said inappropriate things to others as a’joke’ - please could you help reinforce the message we have been giving, that we need to be sensitive to how others are feeling and be supportive and caring - living by our values of respect and friendship.

PE Kit reminder
We seem to have lost our way a little in the PE Uniform.  Please ensure your child has the correct PE uniform and either daps or trainers for footwear (beach shoes and sandals are not suitable) to ensure PE takes place safely.
PE Kit as described on website -
PE Kit - for all
  • Black shorts
  • White round neck t-shirt
  • Daps/trainers
  • School logo hoodie or black non-logo tracksuit top
  • Black non-logo tracksuit bottoms or joggers

Staffing within the Early Years Team
Sadly Emma Smith, our YN Lead who has been on maternity leave, has decided not to return to work.  Emma has been with us since we opened Tadpole and will be much missed by all of us.  This has meant we needed to rethink the organisation in Early Years and so, from Monday 16th March, our Early Years Leader, Emma Holt will be leading learning in YN at the start of the week with Jade Easton Dix and Ailsa Jenner (covering for Sarah Onslow, who is on maternity leave) leading learning for the remainder of the week.  Jadene Cowan and Kate Longhurst will be leading learning in YR across the whole week. We are fortunate to have a talented Early Years team, who are so flexible and adaptable - thank you team!

World Book Day News
It was so lovely to see everyone come dressed up as an adjective this year! The standard set was incredible, so thank you very much for all of your support and encouragement on the lead up to this.
We had a number of our library monitors volunteer to go to different classrooms throughout the school to share their own books with them. This was enjoyed by all, and we are very proud of our team for being generous with their own time and books to share their love for reading to others.
Here are a few of our photos taken throughout the school on our World Book Day!

Things to do in the Community
Hello Parents/Carers,

We have 'eggperienced' huge demand for our holiday courses recently and are 'eggspecting' more of the same when the weather hopefully improves over the Easter break. The children will have an 'eggceptional' time with our coaching staff 'eggercising' off all their chocolate!

Competitions, drills and friends to be made, prices remain the same at £49.50 for three days, with a multi course/sibling discount. Please hop to it and book now so you don't miss out.

Kind Regards,
