Community Coffee Morning - worth a visit:)

We hope to see some of you at our Coffee morning on Tuesday, starting at 8:45 until 10. The focus is SEN, we have got a lovely lady coming in from SEND family voice. She will be giving lots of information, help and support on how they support families with other agencies. Don’t worry if you can’t stay for all of it, you’re more than welcome to just come in for a hot drink and a biscuit.
All welcome (including babies and toddlers, as we will have lots of toys to keep them entertained).

Message for YN Parents

YN show me sessions will take place during the first 30 minutes of your child's session on Tuesday 11th February and Thursday 14th February 2020:
(8.40am - 9.10am) and  (12.20pm - 12.50pm)

Football Match Report

After a long old winter break, the boys couldn’t wait for the opportunity to get back on the pitch… but sadly encountered their first defeat of the new year as they lost out to a strong Orchid Vale team. Despite scoring five goals, the boys took a while to get going against a team, who played some lovely football at times. At times, Tadpole also played some great football but unfortunately, on the day, it wasn’t meant to be. Joseph bagged himself 4 goals with our other goal coming from Zack and, without the help from Muhammad in goal, it could have been a lot more; he was kept constantly busy throughout.  We look to bounce back again though as we visit another tough opponent in Abbeymeads this Wednesday.

Tag Rugby Opportunity - Y3 and Y4

The school has arranged for Premier to run a Tag Rugby club on a Tuesday after school starting on Tuesday 25th February through to Tuesday 31st March 2020.
The club will run from 3.30pm - 4.30pm, will be held outside and no cost to parents.
To make the process fair we will be opening up on Parentpay on Monday 10th February to children of Year 3 & 4 who are not currently assigned to a teacher run club for Term 3/4 to have first refusal and be able to request a space in this club.
On Wednesday morning at 9am we will then open up on Parentpay (if spaces are still available) to the remainder of Year 3/4 children to have the option to sign up to request space.
Successful children will be notified on Friday 14th February 2020 if they have been allocated a space.
If it's the case that the club has been oversubscribed we will hold a waitlist.
Please note however that Premier will be continuing to run a Tuesday after school club for Terms 5/6 (sport activity to be confirmed) therefore will be another opportunity for non successful children to sign up.
Any queries please contact the school office .

Do’nut Stop Reading Reminder

On Friday 14th February, we are holding our 'Donut Stop Reading' Day involving lots of fun! Choose rules you want to break (for a price!) and buy a donut to eat while we read each class an amazing story. This will all raise money for our Tadpole Farm Book Festival which will allow all the children in our school to access some incredible author talks and workshops and allowing our funds raised on the day to be donated to Women's Refuge and other causes to raise literacy in Swindon.

Non-School Uniform
Crazy hair
Nail Varnish
Bring a non-standard snack (no nuts!)
Wear a hat all day
Or for £2, break them all!

Message for Y4 Parents - Bristol Aerospace Trip

Year 4 have an exciting opportunity to visit Aerospace in Bristol. Here they will get the opportunity to look at lots of different types of aeroplanes and space technology including looking at the last Concorde. There will also be interactive exhibitions as well as a fact finding mission. Whilst we are there, we will be taking part in a workshop all about sound which will link to our science topic of the term. They may wear jeans/leggings/trousers and trainers but must wear school uniform on the top half of their body, please.  They will need packed lunch and a water bottle too.

Message for Y5 Parents - Coleshill Trip

Details are all on parentpay and payment is due by Monday 10th February 2020 if not already paid please.
