Welcome to
this week’s BLOG. Quite a lot to get through this week as we move towards the
festive period. An opportunity to dust off the Christmas jumpers and order an
early Christmas Dinner!
I for one
have already enjoyed listening to the Y6 pupils’ fantastic Radio show – I’m
certain you will too.
Have a
restful and enjoyable weekend.

Year 6 Radio
On Friday, Year 6 had a Radio Workshop where they created their very own
radio show which went out LIVE on Anderton Tiger.
If you would like to listen to it (or listen to it again!) please use this link:
A big thank
you to Russell Prue for giving us this experience!
Switch off Fortnight
As part of our
Switch Off Fortnight in school (18th - 29th November), our Eco Committee have
decided to try a No Electricity Day on Thursday 28th November. We are all going
to try and use as little electricity as possible all day long in classes and
around school. We'd like to invite you to join in with us on this day by
trying to reduce your electricity at home! Please encourage your children to
think of new ways they can reduce electricity around their homes to share with
their friends. Thank you!
Sun ‘Books
for Schools’
We have signed our school
up for 'The Sun Books for Schools' and would really like your help to collect
as many tokens as we can. This can then help to extend our range of books
within our school library!
Please send these tokens in
with your child so they can give them to their class teacher.
Tokens start in tomorrow's
Sun newspaper (Saturday 22nd November).
Message
from YN team
