'New' Member of Staff
This weekend Miss Sam Grindley, who teaches Y2 and is a member of our Senior Leadership Team, became Mrs Sam Fletcher when she married... Mr Sam Fletcher. She looked beautiful and we wish Sam and Sam many happy years together.

Scarecrow Trail Update
This is already going well but our FOTF wanted to remind you to join us at our Superheroes Unite event next Saturday 3pm at school. The trail maps available to sell from 10am-2pm at school on that day but until then you can purchase them for £2 from the Bellway, Bovis and David Wilson show homes.

Y4 Trip News
Year 4 have an amazing and exciting opportunity for their school trip on Friday 5th July 19. We will be going to Oxenwood outdoor activity center for the day and each child will have the opportunity to take part in four fun activities. They will include; archery, problem solving, campfire skills and rock climbing. This trip will be a great opportunity for the children to work on their own resilience, perseverance, teamwork and courage as well as many other skills which will give them an insight to residential trips. Children will need to come to school in outdoor PE kit including trainers and a jumper. They should also bring a packed lunch from home, sun hats/cream, jacket and a water bottle. We will aim to leave at 9am so ask that children are in school at 8.30am. We hope to be back in school for normal 3.30pm  collection time. All payment details and consents are on parent pay.

Church at Tadpole Garden Village
We’ll be at Tadpole Farm next Sunday, 12th May, at 4pm to celebrate the great Easter truth that Jesus is alive.  Please join us for refreshments, music, Bible story, children’s craft and prayer.  Everyone welcome!

Parking in the School Grounds
As mentioned some time ago, with the growth of the school staff, we will be reviewing the parking in the school grounds towards the end of term 6 as staff are increasingly finding it hard to get in to school to park.  Many of our staff start at 8:30 a.m. and their parking is already taken or blocked by parents dropping off. We have had staff and volunteers who finish at 3:00 p.m. blocked in by parents picking up at the end of the day too - they are often on their way to pick up their own children and I’m sure you can imagine how stressful this is for a parent.  Could I ask that you do not double park behind our car parking spaces or block them in any way - thank you for your help.

Headlice News

We have headlice in school - please check your child’s hair regualrly - more information can be found here

Book Fayre totals
