Menu Changes
Unfortunately, there was an error with the recent menu and an extra option of a school packed lunch was offered. This has now been rectified and the menu is back to the 3 options. A packed lunch option will be offered in the Spring Menu from February instead of the Jacket potato option.
Anyone who has ordered this option after this week will be changed to option one so if parents wish to change this please log in to parent pay to do so. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The school office have now emailed out all clubs to the email addresses supplied when booked. We were over-subscribed and so names were drawn out of a hat for those clubs. We apologise in advance if your child didn't get a club this time.

Drop Zone
Thank you to all those parents that are using the drop zone in the mornings. Cars are moving on quickly which is helping the flow and allowing parents to drop off safely. Please remember, at the end of the school day, to not park your cars behind the row of already parked cars opposite the drop zone. We will be asking people to move their car if they do so next week.

PE Kit Reminder
Please ensure that all children have a named PE kit in School from Monday. Many of them have not yet come back and the children are already enjoying a range of PE activities.

Through one of our lovely parents, we have been donated a large number of plants which we are in the process of planting in and around the school. Many of our flower beds are very dry and hard. If anyone would like to donate some compost, we would gratefully receive it. Please leave any donations by the school entrance and we will collect on Monday.

Different Adults collecting
Please can we remind all parents to remember to inform the class teachers or office if your child is to be collected by another adult. In order to keep the children safe we have to have permission for them to be collected by another adult even if it is a parent of another child in the class.

Year Group Messages

YN (Hedgehogs)
·         Please ensure that all belongings are clearly named as the children are still learning which items belong to them

YR (Owls and Squirrels)
·         The children are settling really well into their new school routines and so now we feel they are ready to begin being independent and come in by themselves in the mornings. We ask that from Monday parents only come into the cloakroom area and say goodbye there and encourage the children to walk into the classroom on their own. Some may find this a little daunting at first but explain to them this is going to happen and after a few days they will be independent enough to do it on their own!

·         Swindon Advertiser will be coming in next Friday to take class photos of the new Reception children to go in their annual First Days at School feature. Please make sure you have informed school if you do not wish your child to be included in photographs.

·         Please make sure your child has a pair of named wellies and their PE kits in school
