Hello All

Whilst the weather may not be behaving in a spring like way, we are in the summer term and so summer uniforms have been making their way in to school – please make sure the children also have sweatshirts/cardigans and coats until this cold spell has moved on as we like to be outside whenever we can and some of the children found it very chilly last week.

Message for YN Parents - Reminder re Nursery closure day and news re going on an adventure!

This coming Thursday 3/5 Nursery is closed all day for staff training – as previously notified to parents.
As you will know from the Topic Maps,  this term we are exploring the topic of Adventures. Next week we will be taking the children, in small groups, to explore the new park in Tadpole Garden Village. We will be taking the children on Tuesday morning and Friday afternoon. If you have any questions please ask a member of the Nursery team.

FOTF Update

Just a quick update to say the next meeting is Thursday evening 6:30pm at the school.
We have counted up and we have raised an amazing £502.49 - thank you all for supporting this.
So far since this committee has began in December we have raised a grand total of £1764.79 so just wanted to say a massive thank you everyone! The community spirit, everyone’s willingness to help & the children benefiting from this is down to everyone so a big thank you!
Gather your teams for the Quiz Night - tickets on sale now.

Community Café News

Thanks to a generous donation from Bovis the FOTF have been able to start a Community Café 9:00-10:15am each Tuesday in the Small Hall (in term time). We met for the first time this week and it was great to have school parents, young families and members of the community join us for the morning.

It is open to anyone who is connected to the school or in the local community and we have toys, activities and a story each week for any babies or children who join us. We are always looking for cake donations and people to help serve refreshments, chat to others or read a story so if you, or anyone you know can help in any way please let Laura Firth know. All the money we raise will go to FOTF. Bring your pennies and I hope to see you there!

Clubs Update

Details for which child is in which club have been sent out to parents Friday morning via the email you applied with and including the first name and class of each child in that club.

Some children have more than one club if they applied for it and there were spaces spare. A few parents applied for clubs in the wrong year group and didn't get those obviously and we were over subscribed with singing club so anyone who did last year didn't get in.

We have a few (5) spaces left for Multi sports club which we said we would now offer to any year 1 children due to them having only one club available, if parents can send an email to school@tadpolefarmcepa.co.uk  by 12 noon Monday if wishing to be considered names will be drawn out of a hat for those and emailed out Monday PM. Must include child's name and class (must be year 1).

Census Day Meal News

Census day meal change - this is already on Parent pay but just to advertise to anyone wishing to order a meal...

Performing Arts After School Club At Tadpole Farm

As advertised last week, there is a performing arts club, Revolution Performing Arts starting up after school at Tadpole Farm.  The children enjoyed a very active assembly led by this group on Friday and they invited the children to come along for a free session this week – Monday after school for Y3/4/5 and Thursday after school for YR/1/2 – to see if they like it.  Fi, who runs the group, needs to know if your child is coming along for a free session and the details are on the leaflet below.
